Bob Cowan has 25 years experience helping businesses, their owners, and high net worth individuals achieve their financial goals.  Drawing on his expertise in business and strategic tax planning, family and management succession plans, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder compensation alternatives, Bob oversees CBD’s tax practice and provides advisory services to firms in the manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and real estate industries.

Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University.

Bob lives in North Andover with his wife Debbie and their two children, Spencer and Amanda.  In his free time, Bob enjoys working out and grilling for family and friends.
