With over 20 years of accounting experience, both with Big 4 firms and smaller firms, Stephen Doherty is an expert in the areas of accounting for family businesses, manufacturing, 401k audits, and real estate and distribution.
Stephen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is on the board of directors at AGN as well as a speaker at AGN conferences. He has also spoken at Boomer and NE MAP conferences. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College, a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.
Stephen lives in Andover with his wife Robin and three children, Aaron, Jessica, and Victoria. He is a Trustee of the Nativity School of Worcester. An avid athlete (he has competed in an Ironman Triathlon), Steve loves all sports, but he especially loves winning at sports.
